DISCONTINUED
This product is discontinued, effective August 2018.
- In vitro tested for maximum cytokine production by antigen-specific T cells
Batch selected for cytokine production in T cell cultures
Get experiments running sooner - eliminate testing multiple lots of standard FBS
- USA origin, sterile filtered - supplied ready-to-use
Does not require heat inactivation
- For analysis of T cell functions in vitro
Consistently supports in vitro recall responses of T cells isolated from immunized mice
- For adoptive transfer EAE
Consistently supports generation of encephalitogenic T cells in vitro
All FBS is not equally able to support cytokine production in T cell cultures. This product is selected by in vitro testing to support maximum cytokine production by antigen-specific T cells.
Fetal bovine serum (FBS) - sometimes known as fetal calf serum (FCS) - is used as a tissue culture media supplement for generation of encephalitogenic T cells or to evaluate cellular immune responses.
Hooke's FBS is batch selected by in vitro testing to support high levels of cytokine production in T cell cultures.
